Each year, the Naperville, Salt Creek, Waubonsee Valley, and West Suburban chapters jointly present a professional development workshop for independent music teachers. Typically held in February, the workshop features guest clinicians who share practical ideas and teaching strategies that participants can immediately apply in their studios. Proceeds from the event benefit the Berkeley-Pendell Piano Competition Fund.
